El Cordón de Cantillana es una zona de alto valor ambiental en la Región Metropolitana y próxima a la capital, Santiago de Chile, en la que se desea promover un desarrollo turístico sostenible y respetuoso con el medioambiente. En esta zona no se cuenta con instrumentos de planificación y desarrollo socioeconómico adecuados.

Para su ejecución M&R tendrá un equipo de profesionales en Chile que trabajará sobre el terreno y otro equipo en España que aportará experiencia metodológica para la elaboración del Diagnóstico.

Ciertamente esta capacidad de montar equipos internacionales y multidisciplinares (en este proyecto están involucrados, entre otros, antropólogos, biólogos, cartógrafos y economistas) es una de las ventajas competitivas de M&R que le permite acceder a proyectos de transferencia de know-how a nivel internacional.

El plazo de ejecución de este Diagnóstico será de 15 meses aproximadamente y comenzará en este mismo mes de junio.

Management & Research was chosen for execution of the project DIRECTOR’S DIAGNOSIS PLAN OF SUSTAINABLE TOURISM IN CORDÓN DE CANTILLANA, promoted by the Ministry of Environment of Chile.

Cordón de Cantillana is a zone with high-value environment in Metropolitan Region and is situated very close to the capital, Santiago de Chile, where it is planned to promote development of a sustainable tourist, which will take care of the environment. This zone does not have any adequate planning and development instruments.

For execution of that project M&R will have a professional team in Chile that will work in-situ and the other team in Spain, which will contribute its methodological experience needed to draw up the Diagnosis.

Definitely, that capacity to organize international and multidisciplinary teams (among the participants in that project will be anthropologists, biologists, cartographers and economists) is one of M&R competitive advantages that facilitates our access to know-how transfer projects in international level.

The preparation of present Diagnosis will take approximately 15 months and will start in June, 2012.

El objetivo de este programa es contribuir al desarrollo de una estructura económica provincial competitiva. El trabajo a realizar por M&R e IMP sería evaluar los resultados obtenidos y sus impactos en el territorio, tanto en su vertiente medioambiental como en el aspecto social. Este éxito es fruto una vez más de la cooperación de M&R con las empresas del Club Multilateral de Extenda, en este caso IMP Consultores, que está permitiendo abordar nuevos proyectos con un marcado carácter internacional y multidisciplinar.Management & Research and IMP Consultores were included to the short-list in project of realization of Social and Environmental Audit of the Program of Productive Development and Competitiveness in the Mendoza Province, Argentina, program financed by Inter-American Development Bank (IDB).

The objective of that program is to contribute a development of a competitive economic structure of the province. The aim of the work that will be realized by M&R and IMP is to evaluate the results received and their impacts on the territory, in environmental and social aspects. This success one more time is a product of M&R cooperation with companies of Extenda Multilateral Club, IMP Consultores in that case, that makes possible to deal with new international and multidisciplinary projects.
